Role: IT Support Engineer

Job Summary

The IT Support Engineer will be responsible for handling and managing all IT related issues and functions for and on behalf of the firm and staff.

Responsibilities

  • Carrying out periodic installations, configurations and basic maintenance updates on the office’s computer hardware operating systems and applications.
  • Setting up new users’ accounts and staff profiles as well as necessary trainings.
  • Monitoring and maintaining all computer systems and networks for the firm
  • Assisting staff or clients to resolve all IT related problems that does not involve an IT specialist or software i.e., password, email, and network issues.
  • Assist in trouble shooting system and network problems and diagnosing and solving hardware or software faults.
  • Advise and recommend the replacement of computer parts, i.e., hardware or software, as required.
  • Provide online support for procedural documentation and other relevant online processes.
  • Maintain records of software licenses and manage stocks of technology equipment and IT consumables supplies.
  • Assist in the roll out of new applications.
  • Prioritizing and managing many open cases at a time
  • Rapidly establishing a good working relationship with customers and other professionals, such as software developers.
  • Test and evaluate new technology.
  • Conduct periodic electrical safety checks on all electronic equipment.
  • Perform all other related IT functions as may be assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in computer science or any related course
  • 1- 2 years’ experience working with Microsoft SharePoints or Microsoft Azure
  • Excellent IT skills
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and IT fluency
  • Ability to multitask.
  • Good understanding of the information technology market.
  • Relevant certification(s) is an added advantage.

Job Summary

The Business Development Officer will be responsible for growing, developing, and managing Heckerbella Limited’s businesses. Seek new business opportunities by contacting and developing relationships with potential customers.

Responsibilities

  • Identify new business opportunities, initiate business development activities, develop and manage key client relationships.
  • Manage and execute the business development strategy an implement tactical plans to help meet and exceed organizational expectations.
  • Using existing relationships with clients to generate new business.
  • Researching organizations and individuals to find new opportunities.
  • Contact potential clients through cold calls and emails.
  • Present Heckerbella Limited to potential clients.
  • Customize product solutions to increase customer satisfaction.
  • Identify clients needs and suggest appropriate products/services.
  • Developing quotes and proposals for clients.
  • Developing goals for the development team and business growth and ensuring they are met.
  • Proactively seek new business opportunities in the market.
  • Set up meetings or calls between prospective clients and relevant stakeholders.

Requirements

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, or related field
  • Excellent MS Office Skills
  • 1-2 years’ work experience in sales, marketing, or business development.
  • Strong communication skills, organizational skills, and IT fluency
  • Ability to multitask and manage complex projects.
  • Good understanding of the information technology market.
  • Relevant certifications is an added advantage.
